The services for adults and especially children and adolescents include outpatient and inpatient treatment at Alicehospital: urodynamics (computer-aided diagnostics for involuntary loss of urine) video endoscopy (endoscopy of the urethra, bladder, ureter and renal pelvis with the finest flexible instruments), somography, transrectal sonography, duplex sonography, digital X-ray in cooperation with the neuro-radiology department (CT, MRI and, if required, virtual [3-D] endoscopy using CT and MRI). Thanks to the close integration with other specialist centers with the Urological Network Organization (UNO), we are part of a platform with regular, up-to-date specialist training and also have the opportunity to offer further treatment options if necessary. We continue to collaborate with the new Remedia rehabilitation center in Darmstadt’s city center, which offers an interdisciplinary range of services from the relevant medical and therapeutic fields with state-of-the-art equipment: Doctors, physiotherapists, masseurs, sports therapists and scientists, psychologists and nutritionists work hand in hand. This close cooperation ensures a seamless flow of information and treatment progress between the attending doctor in hospital, the physiotherapist in hospital and the institution providing further treatment (remedia). From the very first day, patients are offered personalized treatment and care by a well-coordinated team of specialists until they have made as full a recovery as possible. This refers not only to damage to the musculoskeletal system, but also to internal and cardiological findings.<\/p>\n
